Disclose an annual report on the Company’s political spending, including policies, procedures, and detailed direct and indirect contributions and recipients.
The proposal requests that the company publish an annual report describing its policies and procedures for corporate contributions and expenditures used to support or oppose political candidates or to influence public opinion about elections or referenda. It also asks for a detailed accounting of monetary and non-monetary direct and indirect political expenditures, identifying recipients and amounts. The report is to be delivered to the board or an appropriate board committee and posted on the company website. The proposal explicitly excludes routine lobbying spending from its scope.
